About Us
Torquay United Ladies Football Club was formed in 2013 and began life in the Western division of the South West Women's Football League. The team proved an instant success, winning 17 of their 20 league matches to win the division, finishing 9 points clear of second-placed Marine Academy Plymouth.

The 2014/15 season was the team's first season in the South West Women's Premier Division, and it proved another successful season as the Gulls finished in 3rd place. On top of this, the team also managed to win the Pat Sowden Cup, beating Brislington 4-2 in the final.

The next two years saw consecutive mid table finishes as the team ended in 5th place both times. For 2017/18, the Ladies were stronger than they had previously been, and were back challenging the top spots in the division. The team finished in 3rd place once again, behind winners Buckland Athletic and Marine Academy Plymouth. The Gulls also reached the final of the Devon Senior Cup, but were well-beaten by Plymouth Argyle in the final at Coach Road.

For 2018/19, the club has a new management team in place, and an almost entire new squad. Manager Jamie McInnes is supported by his assistant Nick Garlick, fitness and goalkeeping coach Justin Reeve, mental health coach Aaron Clark and sports therapist Nathan Clinch. As a group, we are all extremely excited to see how we can progress as a team over the course of the season.

Our home stadium for the 2018/19 season is the G.J. Churchward Memorial Ground, the home of Stoke Gabriel FC.
